Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concerts (Oxford)
2012
The sixth annual Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert will be given by Susan Landale HonFRCO HonARCM at 7.30 pm in Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday 13th March 2012. Ms Landale will play an hour-long programme of Baroque organ works by Bach, Buxtehude, Couperin, Mendelssohn and Schumann. Admission is free with everyone welcome. The fifth annual Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert was given by David Briggs FRCO ARCM at 7.30 pm in Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday 19th March 2011. Mr Briggs played an hour-long programme of Baroque organ works by Bach.
2010
The fourth annual Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert was given by Dame Gillian Weir DBE HonFRCO at 7.30 pm in Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday 11th May 2010. Dame Gillian played an hour-long programme of organ works by Bach, Buxtehude, Pachelbel, Schnizer and de Grigny.
2009
The third annual Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert was given by Dr Jennifer Bate OBE FRCO at 7.30 pm in Christ Church Cathedral on Tuesday 5th May 2009. Dr Bate played an hour-long programme of organ works by Bach, Buxtehude and Mendelssohn.
2008
The second annual Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert was given by Simon Preston OBE HonFRCO at 7.30 pm in Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday 26th June 2008. Mr Preston played an hour-long programme of organ works by J.S. Bach, also featured in his Proms performance later in the year.
2007
The inaugural Andrew Chamblin Memorial Concert took place in Christ Church Cathedral in Oxford at 7.30 pm on Thursday 10th May 2007 and was given by Thomas Trotter FRCO. Mr Trotter played a selection of pieces by Bach, Mozart and Handel.
